I also build strict boundaries around the LLM's access to your database and implement defensive engineering tactics to prevent prompt injection and unauthorized data extraction.

Although I had a great experience working onsite in offices across Canada and Germany, remote and hybrid are my preferred formats.

Cost optimization is a major part of moving to production. We achieve this through deep observability—tracking exactly how many tokens are being used and where. From there, we can implement caching layers, optimize prompt length, shift simpler tasks to cheaper/faster models (routing), or leverage efficient techniques like RAG so you aren't stuffing massive amounts of redundant context into every request.

Yes. My primary focus is front-end - React, Next.js, TypeScript, UI architecture - but I am fully comfortable on the back end with Node.js, Express, MongoDB, GraphQL, and REST APIs. I have designed and implemented end-to-end systems and established CI/CD pipelines for safe, robust delivery.

No, my focus is strictly on applied AI engineering. Instead of dedicating extensive resources to training foundation models, I leverage state-of-the-art existing models (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source options via HuggingFace) and integrate them securely into your application using advanced prompting, fine-tuning, RAG, and agentic workflows to solve specific business problems.

Yes, I am open to full-time positions where I can contribute to and own product development long-term.

My core stack is React , Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js. On the data side, I work with MongoDB, GraphQL, and REST APIs. For real-time features, I use WebSockets and WebRTC. I am comfortable with AWS (S3, CloudFront, EC2), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines like CircleCI or Buildkite. I also have a strong background in accessibility (a11y), internationalization (i18n), and design systems.
